Debarkus is a handsome boy with a gorgeous brindle coat and an even more beautiful personality.

This sweet senior gentleman is looking for a loving home where he can be someone's loyal companion and cuddle buddy. He would thrive with a couple or a single person looking for a devoted best friend to share life's moments with.

Debarkus knows his basic manners, including sit, shake, and stand, and he's always eager to interact with his people. On walks, he can still get a little enthusiastic and may pull on the lead, but that's just his zest for life shining through!

Like many of his breed mix, Debarkus can become quite excited when meeting new canine friends, he was initially in foster care with multiple dogs but has not met any for a few months while he recovered from TPLO surgery on his knee. He enjoys socialising but may need a little help remembering his manners during introductions.

Having spent the last few months in foster care, Debarkus has proven himself to be a relaxed and independent house guest. He's comfortable being left alone while his people are at work, provided he has access to both indoor and outdoor areas.

When the day is done, Debarkus's favourite place is right beside his humans. Whether it's cuddling on the couch, soaking up affection, or sneaking under the doona to curl up by your feet, he's happiest when he's close to the people he loves.
