Sweet girl seeks safe landing
Darling JoJo is the epitome of sweet, just inviting you to melt into her big brown eyes. She is in search of a home in which to enjoy her golden years because her family is moving overseas. JoJo has many classic traits of her breed - she is calm around the house, gentle and loving with people of all sizes and enjoys a snooze in the sun as well as a chance to smell the flowers and feel the grass under her paws. JoJo has some basic training and is housetrained, although she may need some gentle guidance about house rules in her new digs.
JoJo has spent a lot of time as an outdoor dog but would absolutely love to be welcomed inside as part of the family. She is typically fine with other dogs, although she sometimes barks back if they get riled up, and she is not a big fan of cats. JoJo has led a fairly quiet life to date and she can at times be timid about unexpected noises and in busy environments. She is also a bit worried by car travel (but can handle the basics) and views bathing as an endurance test rather than a pleasure. JoJo is happy with a modest daily stroll. She tends to pull a bit on the lead and would benefit from using a particular harness, which we can discuss with her prospective adopters.
JoJo will do best in a quieter home where she has regular company, lots of love and daily walks to check the local weemails. This laid-back girl may do well with a similar-aged gentle dog but is equally happy to be the solo pet in the home. JoJo can handle some time alone with sheltered outdoor access, but we would love her to be with her family more often than not. If you think you could be JoJo's perfect match, she would love you to contact us.

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped,
wormed, and flea treated. All necessary vetwork such as dentals,
surgery, eye treatment are also carried out. We are no longer heartworm
testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If
a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer free assistance for six weeks for any issues, a lifetime takeback policy with full refund of the adoption fee, and will always be available to offer advice.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
