About Luna
๐พ๐ Meet Luna ๐๐พ
Luna is a 8 year old Toy Poodle weighing 4.9kg of Love, Cuddles & Curiosity
Some dogs arrive in rescue looking for a second chance.
Luna arrived looking for a first chance.
After spending her life as a breeding dog, Luna has recently discovered something wonderful โ being loved simply because she's Luna. And now that she has experienced the comforts of family life, she is fully embracing every single moment of it. ๐
This gorgeous little Toy Poodle has completed all of her veterinary work and is now searching for a forever family who will continue helping her discover just how wonderful life can be.
Luna is one of those dogs who quietly steals your heart.
She doesn't demand attention.
She simply appears beside you and gently reminds you that life is better when shared.
Her favourite place in the world is wherever you are.
If you're on the couch, she'll be there.
If you're working, she'll supervise.
If you're walking around the house, she'll happily trot along behind you.
And if you're wearing a dressing gown, there's an excellent chance Luna will find her way inside it for maximum cuddle opportunities. ๐ฅน
Despite her gentle nature, Luna has a playful and cheeky side that keeps her foster family smiling.
She absolutely loves zoomies, enjoys kicking a soccer ball around with the children, and is fascinated by remote-control toys. In fact, she'll happily search every corner of the house looking for them.
Then there are her secret treasure collections...
Luna has developed a habit of "saving" pieces of the kids' toast and carefully hiding them under pillows or cushions for later. We suspect she believes she's helping with meal planning. ๐
As an ex-breeding girl, Luna is still learning that the world is a safe place. Loud noises can startle her and unfamiliar situations can sometimes feel overwhelming. She is making wonderful progress every day, but she will need a family who understands that confidence doesn't happen overnight.
What Luna needs most is patience, kindness, and someone who will continue showing her that she is safe, loved, and home.
She is wonderful with children and enjoys spending time outside exploring and playing alongside them. She's also happy around other small dogs provided introductions are gentle and respectful of her space.
Luna loves her walks, although she prefers quieter environments where she can take things at her own pace. She's beautifully behaved on lead and simply enjoys being out beside her person.
Food is definitely one of Luna's love languages. Liver treats are her absolute favourite and make learning new things much more exciting. Combined with praise and encouragement, they help this clever little girl continue building confidence every day.
Luna would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time. She has spent so much of her life without having a family of her own, and now she simply wants to be included in yours.
She wants the cuddles.
She wants the companionship.
She wants to know that when she falls asleep at night, she belongs.
And once Luna loves you, she loves you with her whole heart.
๐ If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate little shadow who will fill your days with cuddles, gentle companionship, and the occasional hidden piece of toast, Luna may just be the perfect addition to your family.
