About Melon
Meet Melon đ - Mango's Partner in Play
Melon is a playful, adventurous kitten who's always ready for his next big leap-especially if his sister Mango is involved. At just 5 months old, he's right in the thick of kittenhood, spending his days climbing, jumping, and perfecting his own version of parkour around the shelter.
Full of energy and curiosity, Melon loves to explore and turn every corner into a new adventure. Whether he's zooming after toys or joining in a wrestling match with Mango, he brings a fun, cheeky spirit to everything he does.
While he loves his playtime, Melon also enjoys attention from his humans and will happily pause his adventures for a bit of affection before dashing off again.
Melon would thrive in a home that's ready for a busy, playful kitten-ideally one that can keep up with his lively personality (and maybe even consider adopting both him and Mango for double the fun!).
Melon's ideal home:
A family ready for an energetic, playful kitten
Plenty of space to climb, explore, and zoom
Lots of toys and enrichment
A good sense of humour for his cheeky antics
đ If you're looking for a fun-loving kitten who brings energy, mischief, and joy, Melon is ready to bounce into your life.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
