About Spencer
Meet Spencer
Spencer is a sweet, sensitive boy looking for a calm and loving home where he can feel safe and settle at his own pace.
He has shown friendly, affectionate behaviours in care and enjoys gentle interaction and tasty treats, though he can be a little selective with food at times. In a busy shelter environment, Spencer can feel quite overwhelmed and watchful, so he is hoping for a quieter home where life feels predictable and steady.
Spencer would suit an adult home best, though calm cat savvy gentle teens may also be considered. He will need patient adopters who can give him time, routine, and understanding as he adjusts.
With patience and kindness, Spencer has great potential to relax, gain confidence, and show his loving nature.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
