Beautiful Marney is a stunning 1-year-old cream, ginger tabby and white sweetheart who has already overcome so much in her young life. 🐱✨

When Marney first arrived at Wat Djerring Animal Facility, she was frightened of the world and suffering from painful eye issues. Thanks to plenty of veterinary care, patience, and love, her eyes are now healed and she's recovering beautifully. 💕👁️✨

The physical healing was the easy part. Building Marney's confidence has taken a little longer.

When she first came into our care, Marney wanted nothing more than to hide away from everything around her. But with gentle encouragement, tasty tube treats, and lots of quiet cuddles, we've watched her slowly begin to trust. 🌸💖 Today, she'll happily sit with familiar people for pats and affection, and every day we see a little more of the lovely cat she's becoming.

Marney is looking for a calm, quiet home where she can continue her journey at her own pace. 🏡💞 She would do best with patient humans who understand that trust takes time and that the biggest rewards often come from the smallest steps. For this reason, a home without young children is essential.

Once Marney feels safe, her sweet nature truly shines. Beneath that shy exterior is a loving little girl who enjoys affection and has all the makings of a wonderful lap cat. 🥰🐾 Her future family will need to give her time to settle, but the bond you'll build with her will be incredibly special.
