Opal is a desexed female DSH available for adoption in Chipping Norton (NSW).

Opal is an absolute purr machine and one of the most affectionate cats you'll ever meet. She loves being loved, and isn't shy about climbing right up onto your chest for maximum contact.

Around familiar people, she hops up onto the lounge to chill or curl up for a nap, often choosing a lap or a blanket as her favourite spot in the house.

She's social through and through, especially with her siblings Peanut and Chin Chin, who she spends her days running, playing and napping alongside.

With new people, Opal takes a considered approach at first, then warms up quickly once she realises there's nothing to worry about and settles right in with anyone calm and affectionate.

Affection comes naturally to Opal. She's a constant purr and will find herself a spot on or right next to you whenever there's love on offer.

She'd flourish in a home that's around often and happy to soak up her affection, ideally alongside other feline friends. Families with children would suit her gentle, social nature beautifully, and she's just as well suited to a quieter household.
