Meet Dottie, a gorgeous fluffy tabby teenager with a luxurious mane, a sensitive soul, and some very complicated feelings about affection???

Dottie is what we like to call a conflicted cuddle enthusiast. She'll tell you she doesn't want attention... while lifting her bum for pats. She'll look unsure about the whole situation... and then start purring. In short, Dottie is currently navigating her teenage years and all the emotional turmoil that comes with them.

As a stray, we have no background history for Dottie, but it's clear she's still learning to trust. She's been quite shy in the shelter and hasn't been confident enough to socialize with other cats, so her compatibility with feline friends remains unknown.

Dottie would do best with a cat-savvy owner who understands that confidence doesn't happen overnight and that sometimes the best way to make friends with a cat is to let them set the pace. Beneath her nervous exterior is a sweet girl who enjoys affection, even if she's not always prepared to admit it.
