NAME: Chilli

BEFORE RESCUE: Came to SAFE Esperance from the pound.

PERSONALITY: Shy with new people, but once she’s comfortable, she’s affectionate on her own terms of course, independent and playful!

FAVOURITE THINGS: Chilli loves to play with toy mice and will carry them around in her mouth. She also plays with her sister and the other cat in her foster home. She is getting over her shyness and enjoys gentle attention from her foster carer. Once she’s finished playing, she’ll curl up for a snooze before waking up and starting all over again!

OTHER ANIMALS: She gets on well with other friendly cats and could live with a cat-savvy dog after gentle, supervised introduction, going at her pace.

GENERAL INFO: Chilli will be microchipped and vaccinated. She is flea and worm treated and is litter trained and very clean.

ESSENTIALS for Chilli:

** A quieter, loving home where she’s given time initially to settle in and get comfortable, then gets plenty of attention but is treated gently. She would be suited to a home with older, cat-experienced, gentle children who will play and engage with her on a daily basis.

** Chilli needs to be kept as an inside only cat or have access to a secure outside cat run.

ADOPTION FEE – $435
Adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, first f3 vaccination, flea and worm treatment and microchip, including the transfer of ownership.

ADOPTION DETAILS

After applying, one of our SAFE coordinators will be in touch to arrange for you to meet with the cat/kitten or to talk to their carer for more information.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen pet is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Esperance will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet’s microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.
