Meet Marvin & Melvin

It breaks our hearts to see Marvin and Melvin finding themselves in the shelter, as these two boys are such sweet and gentle souls. Having come into our care together, they have been a great source of comfort for one another while navigating all the changes that shelter life brings.

Both boys can be a little overwhelmed by the shelter environment and may seem shy or shut down at first. We won't sugar-coat it-they're finding things a bit scary right now. However, with time, patience, and kindness, they have slowly started to show us glimpses of their lovely personalities, and we know that in a calm, loving home they will continue to blossom.

If there's one way to their hearts, it's through food! Marvin and Melvin are big fans of treats, especially wet food and Churu treats. Sharing snacks is a wonderful way to build trust and create a bond with these boys as they learn that people can be pretty great. Or perhaps they've simply worked out that humans are walking treat dispensers-we're still undecided!

Marvin and Melvin share a lovely bond and enjoy each other's company, but they do not need to be adopted together. Whether they find a home side-by-side or separately, we're confident that with patience, reassurance, and plenty of tasty treats, these boys will reward their new families with a very special friendship.
