About Thunda
Thunda is an affectionate and social cat who loves nothing more than being close to his people. He follows his foster carer around the house, hops up on the kitchen bench to supervise, and happily drapes himself across your chest for a movie night on the lounge. He is a very vocal boy who is not shy about letting you know how he feels, and he adores a good pat or a scratch under the chin and down the back (though he prefers you leave his belly alone).
Thunda has two speeds: relaxed and playful. During the day he is content to snooze, but mornings and afternoons bring out his energetic side. He is an enthusiastic and interactive player who absolutely loves to chase anything that moves, whether it is a feather, a shoelace, or a foam ball across the kitchen floor. He particularly enjoys pouncing on feet through a blanket or socks, so consider yourself warned! He is toy-obsessed and thrives with plenty of enrichment to keep that curious mind busy.
Thunda does best in a calm and predictable environment. He does not enjoy sudden movements or loud noises and can be easily startled by a busy or chaotic household. He will need a patient and understanding adopter who is willing to let him settle in at his own pace and build trust on his terms. For this reason, Thunda would be best suited to a calm and quiet home with teenagers through to adults.
Once he is comfortable, he is a deeply loyal and loving companion who will reward you with endless cuddles, enthusiastic grooming, and plenty of chatter. He may also be able to live with another cat, provided introductions are done slowly and carefully to give him time to adjust. With the right home, Thunda will make a devoted and entertaining companion.
Best with Children Aged: 15 +
