About Doug
Doug is a male black and tan kelpie who is 4 years old. He is known to be an absolute gentleman!
Doug is extremely loyal with a heart of gold. He is ready to take on new experiences and adventures. He is a little timid at first, but warms up quickly to become your best friend.
He loves a play, has good recall, sleeps all night and walks quite nicely on the lead. He has an excellent off switch and enjoys watching TV on the sofa for hours.
Doug would suit a home with another dog, and due to his initial shyness, with older children for now. He adores his family, and would spend 24/7 by their side if he could.
Doug gets on with all animals, and appears to have little to zero herding instincts. He is a big, loving softie and would suit a gentle loving family in a rural or suburban home.
If Doug sounds like the boy for you, send in an application today!
Doug is located in SA.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at https://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-process-forms/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
