Meet JP

JP is a little bundle of fun who approaches every day at full speed! This happy-go-lucky pup loves nothing more than racing around with his sister, collecting toys and turning every play session into an adventure.

When the excitement settles, JP shows his softer side. He's incredibly people-focused and follows his foster carer around like a tiny shadow, always wanting to know what you're up to and hoping to be included. After a busy play session, he's more than happy to curl up for cuddles and soak up all the affection on offer.

Being raised in foster care means JP is learning all about life in a home environment, giving us a great understanding of his personality and what makes his tail wag. He's an active, affectionate puppy who will thrive with a family ready to continue his training, provide plenty of enrichment and, of course, lots of cuddles.

JP is currently in foster care with a loving family and can be met by submitting an adoption application. We can then arrange a meet and greet so you can see if this playful little sidekick is the right fit for your home.

I CAN FLY TO PERTH!

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to Perth.

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:

1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.

2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.

3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.

4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.

NOTES:
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.

*Puppies and dogs may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee.
