Meet Molly: Sweet, Snuggly and Full of Puppy Spirit

Molly is a very sweet girl who bonds easily with her people and loves nothing more than settling in for a cuddle. She may be nervous and on high alert when she first enters unfamiliar surroundings, but with reassurance, patience and time to settle, her affectionate personality soon begins to shine.

This clever, food-motivated girl walks well on the lead and responds positively to guidance. She is crate trained, sleeps soundly through the night and is making good progress with her housetraining. Her recall has not yet been tested, and she is still learning that “Molly” means someone is talking to her!

Molly brings plenty of lively puppy energy to the home. She loves to play and is still learning which things are toys and which things are plants, grass, towels and shoes! When excited, she may jump, nibble or snap playfully at the air, so she would be better suited to a home without young children while she continues learning calmer ways to interact.

Molly can react to other dogs, which may be connected to fear or uncertainty. She will need an understanding adopter who can give her space, continue her training and help her build confidence through positive, carefully managed experiences.

Molly previously had an injury to her leg, but it has healed nicely with rest and care.

Being in foster care with a loving family means we are getting to know Molly’s personality, habits and needs in a real home environment. SAFE does not operate a shelter, but that does not stop you from meeting or adopting her.
