About Jethro
Meet Jethro – Your Pocket Rocket with a Heart of Gold! 🐾
At 4.5 years old, Jethro is a classic Jack Russell mix with energy to burn, a huge personality and enough love to fill a house... and then some! ❤️
Jethro is incredibly affectionate and absolutely adores attention from his people.
Jethro would thrive as the only dog in the home where he can soak up all the love and not have to share the spotlight. He can become overstimulated around other dogs and, without guidance, will try to dominate them, so a dog-free home is the best fit while he continues to learn that the world is a safe place.
✨ His favourite things:
🚗 Car rides (he's always ready for an adventure!)
❤️ Cuddles and human attention
👧 Children and women
🍖 Pretty much any food you offer him
😴 Sleeping soundly through the night
Like many rescue dogs, Jethro is still learning the ropes. He's working on toilet training indoors and lead manners, and he's a little wary of men until he gets to know them. With patience, consistency and positive reinforcement, he's already showing plenty of potential.
Jethro is looking for a family who understands that love sometimes comes with a little homework. Someone home a lot, willing to continue his training and help him build confidence, will be rewarded with a fiercely loyal little best mate who just wants to belong.
If you've got a soft spot for cheeky terriers and a heart big enough to help Jethro write his next chapter, he might just be the missing piece in your family.
