Blossom is an 11-month-old Shepherd mix whose journey hasn't always been easy. Arriving at the shelter frightened of almost everything, this sweet young girl has spent her time slowly learning that the world can be a kinder place than she once believed.

Because of her sensitive nature, Blossom is looking for a home without young children, as the hustle and bustle of busy family life can be overwhelming for her. She may benefit from living with a calm, older dog who can help show her the ropes and model confidence, although this isn't essential if her adopters can provide the steady guidance and reassurance she needs. Blossom has not been tested with cats, so any introductions to feline friends should be approached thoughtfully and with care.
