About Ernie Dingo
Hi, I'm Erni Dingo. I got my name because apparently I look like a dingo, and honestly, I think they're onto something. I'm a smart, active young bloke with energy to burrrrrn and a zest for life that keeps everyone on their toes.
I arrived at the shelter as a stray with no ID and, sadly, nobody came looking for me. Their loss, because with the right person by my side, I have all the makings of an incredible companion.
I'm looking for a home that understands dogs and is ready to invest in my future. I'm a clever boy who learns quickly, but I'm also the type who will test the rules if you let me. I need clear boundaries, consistency, structure, and ongoing training to help me become the very best version of myself. A push-over need not apply - I'm looking for someone confident who can guide me and keep my busy brain engaged.
Because I can be jumpy and a little mouthy when I get excited, I'd be best suited to a home with dog-savvy primary school-aged children or older who can understand that I'm still learning my manners. I'm also looking for a home where I can be the only dog, soaking up all the attention and continuing my training without distractions.
I love being active and involved, and I'll thrive with people who enjoy walks, adventures, enrichment activities, and making me part of their daily routine. Give me the structure, training, and consistency I need, and I'll reward you with loyalty, laughs, and a whole lot of personality.
If you're after a clever, cheeky, dingo-lookalike best mate who's ready to take on the world with you, I might just be your guy.
