About Itch
At 12 years young, Itch is a handsome British Blue gentleman looking for a loving home to spend his golden years.
Itch came into our care after his beloved owner passed away. He had been with his owner since he was a kitten. His owner's son took him in and did everything he could to make things work, but despite his best efforts, the family's two dogs became increasingly aggressive towards Itch. Faced with an impossible situation he made the heartbreaking decision to surrender him so he could find the safe and happy home he deserves.
He is playful, inquisitive, easy-going and incredibly affectionate. He loves head and neck rubs and will happily curl up on your lap while soaking up all the attention. He enjoys chasing balls and toys (especially those on strings), interacting with people and then settling down for a well-earned nap. One of his favourite things is stretching out & having a good scratch on his tall scratching post.
Itch has previously lived with dogs and children. He hasn't lived with cats before so we feel he would be best suited to a home without other cats.
If you're looking for a sweet, independent companion who will reward you with endless affection and companionship, Itch could be the perfect addition to your family.

Adoption details
You need to be a pretty special cat person to adopt an elderly cat into your home. Not as sprightly as a kitten they still require your attention…even devotion. You’ll need to understand their daily routines and take some time to get to know them. Help them with grooming – a great way to bond- as they often don’t have the energy to do it properly themselves. Older cats are stress averse so be patient, observant and take a little more care of their health needs and you’ll soon have a loving companion.
All our cats have received a full health & wellness check and are ready for their new home.
