About Fern
Meet Fern, an irresistibly adorable 8-week-old pup who's sure to steal your heart with her charming personality and delightful quirks. This brown sable girl sports a unique off-centre white stripe on her face and the cutest long velvety ears that often flip inside out. Born as the tiniest in her litter, Fern has blossomed wonderfully since starting on solid food. Her appetite for life—and kibble—is bountiful now, as she’s already matching her siblings in size, and her beautiful amber eyes, just like her mom's, provide a lasting sense of her heritage.
Fern is a bundle of personality! Though she's intensely snuggly and loves napping belly-up on a welcoming lap, especially when seeking refuge from her tireless siblings, she’s also one to stand her ground. If her brothers and sisters step on her toes, Fern knows how to voice her opinion with confidence. This balanced mix of sweetness with a dash of fiery spirit endears her to anyone who meets her.
Adored for her playful antics, Fern embraces the good life with a motto of eat, sleep, play, and repeat. After playing outside, she’s quick to let you know she’s ready for the comforts of home. As such, Fern would not be suited as an outside dog, as she thrives when she’s warm and cozy inside. She’ll need a loving family that provides snuggly spaces and lots of quality time, sprinkled with moments of outside adventures.

Adoption details
The adoption process at the Goulburn Mulwaree Animal Shelter is relatively easy. We ask that if you are interested in an animal, please apply via pet rescue. Once our Shelter staff have reviewed applications, we will and phone selected applicants for a meet and greet. We do not take expressions of interest over the phone.
Once you have been selected as the preferred applicant for the animal, all that is required by you is;
- make full payment for the animal at the Animal Shelter by EFTPOS ONLY (Payment via phone can be arranged after a meet and greet with the animal)
- provide details for the microchip and registration paperwork
- pick up your future pet from the Council veterinary service provider once they have been de-sexed and vaccinated (if not already desexed and vaccinated -Council staff will advise you when the animal is booked in at the veterinary clinic).
The following are the re-homing fees for dogs and cats,
Entire Dog (to be desexed after adoption) - $400.00
De-sexed Dog (de-sexed by previous owner) - $275.00
Entire Cat (to be desexed after adoption) - $300.00
De-sexed Cat (de-sexed by previous owner) - $175.00
Entire Dog( to be desexed after adoption) 8years or older - $250.00
De-sexed Dog (de-sexed by previous owner) 8 years or older - $150.00
Entire Cat (to be desexed after adoption) 8 years or older - $150.00
De-sexed Cat (de-sexed by previous owner) 8 years or older $100.00

Microchipping (identification details will be placed on the NSW Companion Animal Register)
Lifetime Registration (within NSW)
Vaccination
Worm, flea & tick treatment
Vet Check
De-sexing (if required)

Please Note: All dogs and cats rescued from the Goulburn Mulwaree Animal Shelter are required to be de-sexed. Dogs and cats will not be sold as entire under any circumstances.
If you are enquiring for a dog and your household has children, dogs or cats please notify the animal shelter.
We are unable to test our dogs with children, but we can do limited testing around cats and other dogs.
The Goulburn Mulwaree Animal Shelter is open Monday to Friday 10.00am till 2.00pm or via appointment.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
