About Roger
Roger is a 7 year old black and tan kelpie - a true gentleman with great manners, a kind nature and a zest for life.
Roger has settled beautifully into foster care and has proven himself to be an absolute legend. He's the kind of dog who's equally happy snoozing on the deck as he is to join you on your next adventure. He sleeps soundly through the night, walks well on lead, has excellent recall, and is comfortable being tethered or relaxing in his crate when needed.
His favourite thing in the world however is people. Roger absolutely adores human company and will happily soak up as much affection as you're willing to give. Watching him melt into a pat is enough to make anyone smile.
Roger gets along well with other dogs and enjoys a good zoomie session with his foster sister. He has shown no signs of resource guarding and has previously spent time around children with no issues.
Roger is looking for a rural or semi-rural home. While he enjoys the company of other dogs, he would be fine as the only dog in the home, soaking up all the love and attention for himself, while still enjoying regular visits and adventures with doggy friends.
Roger is searching for someone who will welcome him into their life and give him the affection he's been dreaming of. In return, he'll reward you with loyalty, companionship, and plenty of love. If he sounds like the boy for you, send in an application today!
Roger is located in VIC.

You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au

We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
