About 🪷Lotus🪷
Lotus cannot tell us what the first few years of her life has been like but we know that she was not offered the kind of environment that all cats deserve. She came into our care after being surrendered to one of our pound partners but despite this she has already grown so much while in foster care.
Lotus is a box fiend, if there’s a box then she’s exploring it. She will flip flop around in it and loves to peep her head out of it to see what you’re doing. She also absolutely LOVES to be brushed and this is definitely the way to her heart. She thinks that this is the best time for a human to be with her and hanging out. She has even been known to be bribed with a tubey treat or two.
We would love for Lotus to have a friendly feline friend in her new home. She takes cues from them and actively seeks out feline friendship in her foster home so having another cat to keep her company and show her how great humans are would be wonderful.
Lotus’ new home must go at her pace and understand that things like televisions, vacuums, washing machines etc are new to her and she needs patience to settle into a home environment. For this reason a home with young children will be too much for her at this stage in her life. A home with older, respectful children or one without would be great.
Lotus has recently had a dental to ensure her teeth are spick and span. She is of course, desexed, microchipped and up to date with her vaccinations and parasite treatments. She is in care in Harkness and taking applications from Victorian homes only. Lotus’ adoption fee has been reduced from our usual fee as our pound partner has covered the cost of the majority of her vet work.
