SPECIAL NEEDS KITTEN:
I HAVE A NEUROLOGICAL CONDITION CALLED CEREBELLER HYPOPLASIA (ALSO KNOWN AS WOBBLY CAT SYNDROME) WHICH CAUSES UNCOORDINATED MOVEMENTS, SHAKING LEGS, TAIL AND SOMETIMES WHOLE BODY, THIS CONDITION ISN'T PAINFUL AND DOES NOT WORSEN OVER TIME. MY LIFE EXPECTANCY ISNT AFFECTED AND I WILL LIVE A LONG & HAPPY LIFE BUT I MAY NEED ADJUSTMENTS IN A HOME SUCH AS STEPS TO GET ONTO A LOUNGE/BED, STURDY ELEVATED FOOD/WATER BOWLS, IF FLOOR IS TILED I WILL NEED MATTS/CARPET TO HELP ME BALANCE. STRICLY INDOORS AS I CAN'T ESCAPE PREDATORS QUICKLY.
MY CONDITION IS MILD COMPARED TO MOST AND IT DOESNT AFFECT MY DAY TO DAY LIFE, I WILL JUST NEED AN EXTRA LOVING HOME WHO DOESN'T MIND ME WIGGLING AROUND THE HOUSE.
My Ideal Home: with a family that understands the world can be a scary place for a little kitten, I will been love and patience to gain my confidence in a new home.
My Purr-fect Perks: Super playful, affectionate once I get to know you.
Please note that adoption applications can only be approved if you're able to visit the shelter to meet Wiggles in person.
General:
• I'm an indoor-only kitty so I can live a long, happy, and healthy life.
• Toys, enrichment, and fun activities will keep my clever mind busy and content.
• A home filled with lots of love, patience, and attention.
• I can be a little shy at first, so I'll need a family who lets me build confidence at my own pace.
• I have been in a foster home around cats and dogs although I do sometimes hiss when dogs come near me, with time and patience I will adjust to them.
• I'd be happiest in a home with gentle children, as I can be easily startled, I have been in a foster home with a toddler and I get scared when he is too noisy.
Perks:
• Fully litter trained - a very tidy housemate!
• I adore attention and snuggles once I get to know you
• Uber playful!
• Independent enough to entertain myself.
• A gentle, shy soul who is still learning that the world is a safe place
• Blossoms slowly but beautifully once trust is built
• Finds comfort in cozy hiding spots and soft blankets
• Gains confidence through gentle play and positive reinforcement
• Would do best in a low-noise home without too much hustle
