Tulip needs a foster carer
About Tulip
Tulip requires the following in her new home.
- To be kept as an inside only cat with the exception of an outdoor cat enclosure.
- Another desexed calm cat, not kitten living in the home.
- Toys, cat trees and poles, and hidey holes.
- No young children.
Tulip is a tiny, princess that has a face that could melt butter. She prefers a quiet home where she can quietly explore her environment.
Tulip finds loud, fast moving children a little scary, although she is happy to live with older children that are calm and quiet. She will happily dish out an endless supply of hugs and kisses to those she is comfortable with.
Tulip likes to find little, dark hidey spots to sleep in, whether that's in a cupboard or a cat carrier with a blanket. On cold days/night she has become accustomed to a heated blanket on the couch.
Tulip is litter trained but enjoys scratching the litter about and to reduce mess an enclosed litter tray works best.
Tulip doesn’t enjoy rough play, she can live with a quieter adult cat that isn’t seeking a playful companion, but she will need slow introductions. She enjoys the company of the dog in her foster home that is calm and gentle, she can live with a gentle cat friendly dog.

*All cats and kittens adopted through Pyrenees Animal Rescue are only available to homes where they will be kept indoors or in a secure cat run/enclosure. A yard with fencing is not enough to keep an adventurous cat contained, or safe from dogs and traffic. *

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis. We assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animals needs.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home, please send us a detailed email with some information about the people and any other animals in your home, as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteers who run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home must attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a fully refundable 2 week trial period. If you ever find yourself unable to care for, or keep your pet, please contact us and they will come back into our care, or we will do our best to assist you in finding them a suitable new home, this is a condition thst you agree to when signing our Adoption Agreement.
