About Pippin (bonded To Gandalf)
Meet Gandalf and Pippin!
Gandalf and Pippin are a bonded pair of sweet, shy boys who may not set off on their quest straight away, but with patience, kindness and a gentle approach, they slowly grow in confidence and reveal their delightful personalities. These hobbit worthy friends will thrive in a large indoor only setup with guinea pig savvy teens/adults who understand that trust is earned one step at a time. A calm home where they can settle in at their own pace will help them feel safe enough to explore the world beyond their hideaways. Like any good adventurers, Gandalf and Pippin love enrichment. They enjoy weaving through tunnels, burrowing in generous hay piles, searching for treats in forage boxes, nibbling on safe chew toys and retreating to cozy hides after a busy day of exploration. Fresh veggies are also high on their list of treasures, with leafy greens and crunchy snacks sure to win their approval.
If you are ready to welcome two lovable companions into your fellowship and help them continue their journey toward confidence, come meet Gandalf and Pippin today!
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
