Daisy – Sensitive, Sweet & Looking for Her Safe Place

Daisy is a 5‑month‑old Border Collie x Bull Arab pup with a gentle heart and so much potential — she’s just had a tougher start than most. Coming from a chaotic environment with no structure and four pups left to raise themselves, Daisy is still learning that the world isn’t as overwhelming as it once felt.

She’s the most sensitive of her litter and has always leaned on her siblings for confidence. Now she’s ready to find a human who can be that steady, reassuring presence she’s been missing.

What Daisy Needs

• A patient, dog‑savvy home — she’s probably not ideal as a first dog, but someone experienced with reading dog body language will help her thrive.

• A calm, predictable environment with gentle handling, soft encouragement and plenty of reassurance.

• A confident, friendly dog companion is strongly recommended. Other dogs help her feel safe, show her the ropes and give her courage when the world feels big.

• Older kids or very dog‑savvy children who understand space, consent and gentle interactions.

• Slow, positive introductions to new people and experiences. She responds beautifully to soft voices, treats, choice‑based handling and patience.

Where She’s At Now

Walking on lead is still a challenge — the world is loud, busy and full of surprises — but with time and positive experiences, she’ll get there. Despite her nerves, Daisy has a very sweet, affectionate side that shines once she feels safe. She enjoys gentle closeness, calm interactions and being near “her person”.

Daisy and her siblings arrived underweight, with poor coat condition and irritated skin, but with good nutrition and care they’re already improving. What she needs now is the emotional equivalent: structure, predictability, kindness and love.
