About Sergeant Silvertoes
*In foster care in Campsie, Sydney*
Gentle but inquisitive, Sergeant Silvertoes loves affection (pats are a firm favourite!) and enjoys being held up so he can watch what's happening around him!
More of a cheerleader than a player, he's definitely most comfortable observing the household goings-on from the sidelines rather than diving in head-first :) He does find it hard to resist a good wand toy though!
Sergeant Silvertoes may be suitable for a family home, and another relaxed cat for company might be OK too - though he'd be just as happy (maybe more so?) as your one-and-only furry friend.
Like all Maggie’s pets, Sergeant Silvertoes is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I think I'm pretty flexible, but in a purrfect world I'd get all the toys to myself! I'm an independent little guy so no worries if you're out at work all day, as long as you've got some pats for me when you get home.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I have a soft spot for wand toys - but generally I prefer to sit back and watch the action!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: If kids are gentle with me, and allow me time to get to know them, then I'm sure we'll be fine.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: My siblings are very entertaining and lovely to snuggle with, so if you already have a nice resident cat I probably wouldn't mind!
I do tend to take a while to settle into new situations, so dogs might be a bit too scary for me right now.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
