About Patapoof
*In foster care in Balmain, Sydney*
Patapoof is an incredibly affectionate boy who adores cuddles from his favourite humans - and isn't shy about asking for them! If you're nearby, he'll happily come sit next to you and keep you company, but he's also respectful of your space and understands when it's time for you to focus on work or other activities.
Patient, gentle, and easygoing, Patapoof loves playtime and is wonderful to interact with. He handles attention like a champ, and adapts quickly to new environments, so he many be be well-suited to a family home. His sweet nature and calm temperament make him a joy to have around!
Like all Maggie’s pets, Patapoof is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'll be a great match for someone looking for a true companion rather than a very independent cat. I think I'd do best in a home where people are around regularly and enjoy having a pet involved in their daily life. Whether it's a family, a couple or a single person, the most important thing is that I have loving humans who'll spend a decent amount of time with me, and give me loads of attention!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Low-to-moderate, leaning 'couch potato'. For most of the day I'm perfectly happy lounging nearby, napping or relaxing around the house. But I do also enjoy a daily round of zoomies - usually involving a quick sprint through the house and some playtime with a treasured toy before settling back into relaxation mode!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Likely excellent! My sweet, gentle and tolerant nature suggest I'd be very compatible with family life.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: My only contact with other pets since arriving in foster care have been a barking dog next door and a cat who comes into the backyard - and I'm not fazed by either of them! So the signs are good that I may be able to live happily alongside other nice pets (after slow and steady introductions, of course).

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
