If you've always dreamed of sharing your life with a gentle big quiet girl, Diva may be the dog you've been waiting for.
Despite her size, Diva is one of the sweetest and most affectionate dogs you could hope to meet. Calm, quiet, gentle and loving, she has a beautiful nature that wins hearts wherever she goes.
Diva adores people and thrives on companionship. She loves being included in family life and is happiest when she can relax near her people, especially children, whether that's stretching out in the lounge room, joining you for a walk, or simply supervising daily activities from a comfortable spot nearby.

Her foster family describes her as affectionate, easy-going and incredibly gentle. She has settled beautifully into home life and enjoys all the comforts that come with being a cherished family member.
One of Diva's most endearing qualities is her calm temperament. While she is only three years old, she doesn't carry herself with the boisterous energy many people might expect. Instead, she is content to spend her days enjoying human company, a soft bed and the occasional adventure.
Diva has also shown herself to be wonderful with children. Her patient and gentle nature makes her a lovely family companion, provided children understand how to behave respectfully around dogs of her size.
Diva will need secure fencing to keep her safe, room to stretch out, and owners who appreciate that while she may think she's a lap dog, she definitely isn't small.
In return, Diva offers something truly special: unwavering loyalty, gentle companionship and enough love to fill even the biggest home.

Adoption details
Dogs:
(1) The first step is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
(2) All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
(3) If the “meet and greet" is successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
(4) For successful interstate applicants, different arrangements may apply and will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
Cats:
If you are interested in one of our cats or kittens, please click on the green "Enquire about ...", button, tell us a bit about yourself and the home you can offer the cat, and one of our volunteers will be in touch.
