Cashew is a male Domestic Short Hair cat available for adoption in Sunnybank (Brisbane, Queensland).
Cashew is a friendly, extraverted cat who comes running for pats and never met a person he wasn't keen to greet. Sociable, vocal and full of personality, he's the kind of cat who brings the energy home.
He's affectionate enough to brush up against your legs every time you walk past and playful enough to live for the moment you produce his favourite tunnel.

Cashew's day has a strong shape. Mornings begin with a confident meowed request for breakfast, then he settles in for the kind of serious napping a cat takes pride in.

From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
