Meet Dot!
Dot is a clever, energetic, and affectionate girl who is ready to find a family to call her own. She thrives on companionship and loves being involved in everyday life, whether it’s heading out for a walk, exploring the backyard, enjoying a cuddle on the couch, or keeping her mind busy with toys and training.
Dot is a social sweetheart who is gentle with people and calm dogs. She rarely barks and absolutely shines during beach outings, where she happily plays and has fun with other dogs. While she can be a little shy when meeting new people, she warms up quickly—and before long, you’ll be receiving plenty of her signature face kisses!
She forms strong bonds with her family and loves being close to her people. Dot is crate trained and sees her crate as a safe, comforting space, especially during stressful situations like storms. She responds beautifully to consistent guidance and enjoys learning. She already knows to patiently wait before eating, when her food is placed in front of her, walks beautifully on lead, and is currently mastering sitting at road crossings—which she’s picking up incredibly quickly. She is very well behaved and intelligent and listens when you tell her not to do something.
Dot would love a home with another friendly dog to keep her company and match her playful energy. She is also good with children and settles well into household routines, making her a wonderful addition to an active family.
Her ideal home would be with another dog or with someone who works from home as she really enjoys company.
Her ideal home would have secure fencing and a yard where she can safely enjoy time outdoors but, also loves to be indoors snuggled on the couch or by your feet. She is a very easy dog, who loves structure, and plenty of love. Dot will reward her family with unwavering loyalty, endless affection, and a joyful spirit. If you’re looking for a smart, loving companion who will happily join you on adventures and then curl up beside you at the end of the day. Dot could be the perfect match.

Adoption details
* Once an interest is lodged on a dog, a member of the team will call the person and follow up within 24 hours of receiving.
* An adoption form is emailed to the applicant for completion once the initial call has quantified a fit for the said animal.
* Once the application is received back to PPAR with yard photos a meet for the animal is organised.
* If the meet is a success, Adoption is then activated with all relevant paperwork emailed including MC transfer / all vet work certificates (C5 / desex etc.)
* Team member will follow-up after the successful adoption to ensure all is going well
