Howdy! My name is Lil' Tommy, although my foster family affectionately calls me Lil' Tommy Grumbles. I'm a gorgeous, quirky little fellow who is impossible not to adore! I'm very timid and cautiously curious, always taking my time to figure out whether the world is safe.

I might grumble when you give me a scratch. I might grumble when you venture a little too close. But for all my grumbling, I have a lot of love to give.

I don't particularly like being picked up, but once I'm in your arms, I feel safe up high. My little ears prick up with interest, and I'll happily hold onto your forearm while you wander around the house doing your thing.

Working at a computer, I'll happily sit in your lap (with the occasional grumble) while you work away.

I absolutely love my tucker and will quietly sneak up when it's mealtime, ready and waiting as you prepare my food.

I also enjoy gentle play and can often forget all my worries when chasing a piece of string tossed gently my way.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I currently live with adults and two teenagers. The teenagers love me and always handle me with care.
I'm not the right kitten for younger children, though, as I scare easily and can growl or hiss when I'm feeling unsure.

Right now, I love spending time with my foster kitten friends. I would really enjoy living with a friendly kitten who could help show me the ropes and build my confidence. I'm a little cautious around bigger cats, but with careful introductions, I'd likely warm up to a friendly older cat.

Due to my sensitive nature, and because I haven't been tested with dogs, my foster family thinks I would be happiest in a home without dogs, at least for now.

Likes / Dislikes
✅ Licky treats — I simply cannot resist them!
✅ Watching my fellow foster kitties and joining in their games once I feel confident.
✅ Gentle play sessions with my favourite humans, as long as they give me a little space while we play.
✅ Sitting up high in the crook of your arm while being carried around the house. Just be aware that I'll probably complain about being picked up first!
✅ Lots of quiet conversations that help me build trust and confidence.
🚫 Loud noises and unexpected movements.
🚫 New people, loud people, and anyone who approaches me too quickly.

My PURR-fect home would be a quiet and understanding one, with a human (or two) who loves me exactly as I am and is willing to patiently help me learn that the world isn't such a scary place. A friendly kitten or cat companion would be wonderful, as I love watching other cats and learning from them. Having a confident feline friend may help me continue to build my social skills and confidence.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

*Lil' Tommy's adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment.

Medical Notes: Lil’ Tommy has undescended testicle. He will need to be taken to Paws and More vet in Canning Vale for his second vaccination and testicle check, if they have not descended he will need surgery at 6 months of age to find the testicles, if they have descended at the time of the vaccination he will be booked immediately for the surgery, these appointments will be organised by Perth Rescue Angels.
