Meet Rusty 🐾
Rusty is a handsome 1 year 8 month old American Staffy cross weighing approximately 33kg. He's a big-hearted, energetic boy who loves adventures, beach trips, exploring new places, and being close to his people.

One of Rusty's best qualities is his adaptability. He's experienced different living situations, dog sitters/walkers, and routines, and consistently shows how resilient and easy-going he is. He settles in quickly and is happy to go along with whatever adventure comes next.

Rusty is a smart dog who enjoys learning and responds well to structure, routine, and positive reinforcement. He loves being involved in daily life, whether that's heading out for a walk, joining you for a coffee stop, or relaxing nearby after a busy day.
He's crate trained, house trained, loose lead walks and enjoys enrichment activities such as Kongs, chews, sniffing games, and training exercises. He already knows several cues and takes to training quickly.

At bedtime, Rusty is very flexible. He's happy sleeping in his crate, stretched out on the couch, or sneaking in for a cuddle on the bed if he's invited. As long as he's close to his people, he's content.

Rusty would thrive with experienced dog owners who are committed to continuing his training.
His ideal home would have:
• An active lifestyle with daily exercise and mental stimulation
• A comfortable spot in the sunshine to laze about
• Consistent routines and structure
• Adults or older teenagers / someone home regularly
• No cats, other dogs are fine
• Willing to invest time in his training and enrichment
• Most importantly — lots of cuddles (morning, day, and night)

A perfect day for Rusty would involve a morning walk, a coffee stop with his humans, a nap in the sunshine, some training or enrichment, and finishing the day curled up on the couch for a cuddle.

Rusty isn't looking for a perfect owner—he's looking for the right owner. Someone who appreciates his loyalty, intelligence, and zest for life, while understanding that he's still a young dog who needs guidance, patience, and ongoing training. In the right home, Rusty will continue to thrive as an incredibly rewarding companion and adventure buddy.

Rusty will come with everything he needs to help make the transition into his new home as smooth as possible, including his crate (which he happily sleeps in), bed, favourite toys, leads, bowls, and other essentials. Having familiar items around him helps Rusty settle in quickly and gives his new family a great starting point.
