About Mango Chicken

With his mix of relaxed confidence and playful spirit, Mango Chicken is the complete package!
A gorgeous ginger and white boy, he's totally obsessed with his fishing rod toy -
but he's equally happy spending hours curled up asleep or stretched out in a sunny spot around the house. He has a loyal and curious nature, and enjoys being close to his people, even following his foster humans to the bathroom :)
Mornings are Mango's his favourite time for head and face scratches, and he'll happily soak up the attention while you get ready for the day. Like any cat, he appreciates having his boundaries respected and will let you know when he's had enough pats, but that's all part of his feline charm!
Mango is affectionate, handsome and playful, and independent in all the right ways. Whether he's snoozing in the sunshine, following you around the house or pouncing after his toys, he's guaranteed to bring plenty of joy to his future home.
Like all Maggie’s pets, Mango Chicken is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will have some quiet spaces to relax and recharge, along with enough room to stretch my legs and chase my favourite fishing rod toy. A sunny window or cosy spot to nap would make me very happy!
While I can be a little selective about affection at times, I'm a sweet and loyal fellow who adores being around my people. With patience, understanding and plenty of interactive playtime, I'm sure I could grow into a wonderful family cat. I'm looking for humans who'll let me settle in at my own pace, respect my boundaries, and enjoy all the love and companionship I have to offer.
Due to my delicate pink features I'm looking for an indoor only home.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I treasure my downtime, especially if I can spend it in a patch of sun - but when a playful mood kicks in I'm all about the fun and games!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm not keen on being picked up, but kids who'll play with me respectfully sound like nice company.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Hard to say - I haven't met any other pets while in foster care.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
