About Olive
Meet Olive
Olive – Tiny Explorer, Big Personality
Don't let her small size fool you—Olive may be the tiniest member of her litter, but she has enough courage, curiosity and determination to fill an entire house.
Olive and her two siblings, Daisy and Parker, were discovered alone in a backyard, orphaned, cold and hungry. Thankfully, a kind-hearted finder brought the trio into DCH care, where they received the love and support they needed to grow into healthy, happy kittens.
Today, Olive is ready to begin her next adventure: finding a forever family of her own.
Olive is an inquisitive, confident little kitten who approaches life with enthusiasm and curiosity. While some kittens prefer to sit back and assess a situation, Olive is usually the first to investigate a new toy, explore a new room, or climb to the highest perch on a cat tree. Despite being the smallest of the litter, she is easily the most adventurous and courageous.
She loves chasing balls, pouncing on plush toys, stalking wriggly snake toys, scaling cat trees and stretching out on scratching posts after a busy day of play. Her playful nature keeps her entertained for hours, but when she finally runs out of energy, she transforms into a sweet cuddle companion who enjoys curling up beside her humans or fellow feline friends for a nap.
Olive is wonderfully social and friendly. She enjoys meeting new people and doesn't seem fazed by unfamiliar adults or children. She is playful, affectionate and confident in new situations, making her a delightful companion for families looking for a kitten who enjoys being involved in daily life. She gets along well with other cats and has not yet been tested with dogs.
Like many growing kittens, Olive is very interested in food and will happily supervise dinner preparations if she thinks there is even the slightest chance of a snack being involved. Fortunately, her enthusiasm for food is balanced by her excellent manners around the home.
Olive is fully litter-trained and confidently uses both pellet and crystal litter. She enjoys eating both wet and dry kitten food, drinks happily from either a water bowl or water fountain, and has proven herself to be an easy indoor companion. She is respectful of furniture, clothing, shoes and household cords, preferring to direct her energy towards toys, climbing adventures and playtime instead. She is also a remarkably quiet kitten, rarely meowing except for the occasional soft protest when placed in a pet carrier—an experience she would much rather avoid.
Olive has been microchipped, received her first vaccination, been desexed, and is regularly treated with Advocate for flea and worm prevention. She has never had fleas, worms or any health concerns while in care.
With her adventurous spirit, loving nature and endless curiosity, Olive would make a wonderful addition to a family looking for a kitten who brings both fun and affection into their home. If you're searching for a tiny explorer with a huge personality, Olive may be exactly who you've been waiting for.
