About Bear (now Simba)
Meet Bear! Bear is a handsome man looking for a calm and understanding home where he can settle in at his own pace. While he may be a little shy when meeting new people, with patience, kindness, and a quiet environment, Bear's sweet personality begins to shine through.
Bear would thrive in a peaceful home with adults or respectful teenagers who understand that building trust takes time. He's not looking for a busy household-instead, he'd love a family willing to let him take things slow and come out of his shell in his own way. If you have a quiet home and a patient heart, Bear could be the perfect match for you.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
