About Parker
Meet Parker
Parker – The Mischief Maker with a Heart of Gold
If you've ever wanted a kitten who can make you laugh one minute and melt your heart the next, Parker may be the perfect addition to your family.
Parker and her two sisters, Daisy and Olive, were discovered alone in a backyard, orphaned, cold and hungry. Thankfully, a kind-hearted finder brought the trio into DCH care, where they received the love, safety and care they needed to thrive.
Today, Parker is ready to find a forever family of her own.
Parker is a delightful mix of playful mischief and affectionate sweetness. She is friendly, confident and full of personality, always looking for her next game, adventure or opportunity to surprise her unsuspecting siblings.
Her favourite pastime is hiding just out of sight and launching a playful ambush on a sibling or resident cat as they wander past completely unaware. Whether she's sneaking around corners, waiting behind furniture, or hiding beside the stairs, Parker approaches every day as if it's one big game of hide-and-seek.
She loves chasing balls, carrying plush toys around the house, stalking wriggly snake toys, climbing cat trees, racing up and down stairs and scratching away at scratching posts. Wrestling matches with her sisters are another favourite activity, and she can often be found bouncing across the room in pursuit of her next playmate.
Despite her cheeky side, Parker is also an incredibly affectionate kitten. Once playtime is over, she enjoys curling up beside her siblings or snuggling next to her human family for a well-earned nap. She has a lovely balance of independence and affection that makes her an easy companion to live with.
Parker is very friendly with people and enjoys spending time with both adults and children, although she can be a little cautious when meeting children for the first time before her curiosity quickly takes over. She gets along wonderfully with other cats and would happily join a home with feline companions. She has not yet been tested with dogs.
Like her sisters, Parker is an excellent indoor kitten. She is fully litter-trained and confidently uses both pellet and crystal litter. She enjoys both wet and dry kitten food and drinks happily from either a water bowl or water fountain. She is respectful of furniture, clothing, shoes, household appliances and electrical cords, preferring to focus her energy on toys, climbing and games instead of household mischief. She is also a quiet kitten who rarely meows, making her a lovely, easy-going companion around the home.
Parker has been microchipped, received her first vaccination, been desexed, and is regularly treated with Advocate for flea and worm prevention. She has never had fleas, worms or any health concerns while in care and has grown into a healthy, happy young kitten.
What makes Parker especially charming is her ability to switch effortlessly between playful troublemaker and affectionate cuddle bug. One moment she's launching a surprise pounce from behind a chair; the next she's curled up beside you, fast asleep and looking completely innocent.
If you're searching for a kitten who will bring laughter, companionship and plenty of personality into your life, Parker may be the perfect match.
Could Parker be the little rascal your family has been waiting for?
