About Murphy
Introducing Murphy!
Murphy is a Domestic Short Hair born 11th April 2026.
Murphy and his siblings have come into us from a local cat hoarding situation. Given they haven't had much human socialisation before coming to us, all of these kids are incredibly playful (and a little cheeky).
Since being at the facility Murphy & his siblings have been absolutely beautiful kids. While they can still be a little shy when meeting new people, it doesn't take them long to show their true personalities. They love to play, wrestle, climb everything they probably shouldn't and basically get into your typical cheeky kitten shenaningans.
While Murphy could learn to be the spoilt only "child" at home, as he's grown up being surrounded by others & enjoys their company so much, we believe he would be more comfortable in a home with another feline companion to play with.
Murphy will be rehomed to a family who will keep him as an inside cat only.
Murphy is litter trained and would make a wonderful addition to most families.
If you think you could be that furever family for Murphy, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
His adoption fee is $325 & this includes his desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. He is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Murphy is currently located in East Maitland.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
