About Wilbur
Hello there! I'm Wilbur, and I'm officially accepting applications for my forever family.
APPLICATION PROCESS APPLIES FOR Wilbur
PLEASE COMPLETE THE BELOW APPLICATION FORM

My Ideal Home:
• Once I am old enough - I'll need daily exercise - walks, park or beach trips, and playtime in the backyard will keep me happy and healthy.
• Ongoing training and guidance with basic manners will help me grow into a well-behaved companion.
• I want to be part of the family indoors - not left outside without interaction.
• I'd love plenty of toys and mental enrichment to keep my busy mind occupied.
• A good-quality puppy food to support my growing bones/joints.
• Most importantly, I'm looking for lots of love and attention from my family.
• Socialisation is just as important as training. Taking me to new places, introducing me to all sorts of people, dogs, and other animals will help me grow into a confident, well-adjusted boy.
• Training, training, training - it's essential that I receive consistent guidance in every aspect of my life so I can become the very best companion as I mature.
• As a young puppy, I’m ready to learn and adapt — how I grow and mature will reflect the love, structure, and guidance you provide
• I’d love a friendly dog playmate — or, if I’m your only dog, regular opportunities to socialise with other dogs.
• With a slow and thoughtful introduction, I would be ok going to live with a dog friendly cat/s.
My Paw-some Perks:
• I’m a very playful, happy pup with the cutest little wiggle-butt when I’m excited but also a gentle boy with an old soul.
• I’m highly food motivated, which makes training lots of fun and helps me learn quickly.
• I am a very clever boy and i already know how to sit & lay down when asked.
• I’m very social and happy to hang out with other friendly dogs — total social butterfly!
• I absolutely love attention, cuddles, hugs, kisses and head scratches, and I’m quite partial to snoozing on the couch with my humans.
• I am still young enough to adapt to any lifestyle/home
Training & Support Needs:
• I haven’t had any formal training yet, so I’ll need help with all my basic manners and life skills. The good news is I love food and toys, which will make positive training lots of fun and rewarding for me.
• I’ve only recently started learning to walk on lead at the shelter. I’m improving every day but further on leash training is recommended.
Please Note: You'll only be able to meet Wilbur if your application is approved. Successful applicants will be invited to the shelter for a meet-and-greet, and any dogs currently in the home must attend as well
