About Dakota
Dakota is a sweet, young girl who is still discovering the world around her and growing in confidence every day. While unfamiliar sights, sounds, and experiences can sometimes make her feel unsure, Dakota is curious at heart and, with gentle guidance and reassurance, is willing to investigate and learn.
As Dakota has had limited socialisation, she is looking for an experienced owner who understands the importance of positive, ongoing training and confidence-building. She will do best in a calm, routine household with no other dogs.
With patience, structure, and consistent guidance, Dakota has the potential to grow into a confident and rewarding companion.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
