Fifi

Fifi is a super sweet girl, who sadly had her mum pass away, before she ended up in the pound. Fifi is really well house trained, loves to use the doggy door, has a great appetite and has gained a lot of weight and condition since arriving. She is a tiny girl, weighing 2.4kgs at the pound. Although Fifi didn't have much dog socialisation before arriving to us, she has since learnt how to interact with other dogs in the home, and loves her siblings. She really needs another little dog her size, who is confident and outgoing, that she can learn off. She also knows how to play like a real dog now, engaging in zoomies, rough and tumble. She loves to play with her bestie, especially in the house. Fifi is great to groom, sitting comfortably in the sink for baths, and well behaved having her nails trimmed. She is an exceptional little girl.

Fifi gets along with all the other animals on the farm here. Chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, sheep, goats, cattle. They're all her friend. She is extremely pocket pet safe! I think only the mice are smaller than she is.

Fifi does not like new people, and bonds very closely with her family and home. She would not enjoy going to a cafe, being in a social group, or being around strangers often. It's likely she was not exposed to these things in her earlier life, and as such, she is after a person that will respect the fact that she doesn't want to be a social butterfly. It is all too stressful for her, and given her adorable looks, it's understandable why she doesn't want strangers constantly wanting to interact with her. People's loud, overbearing natures and incessant need to be her friend, see her retreat and cower. She is too sweet to bite, but every dog will get there if pushed remorselessly. She needs her human to stand up for her, and put her needs first.

Fifi walks perfectly on lead. Always by your side, never in the way. She is very confident jumping onto beds and furniture, and will push her head under your hand if you forget to pat her perfect head.

Fifi is so tiny it is hard to contain her, as most fencing has gaps she can walk through, and she's used to taking herself for little walks on the farm. She is very good at mapping out an area, and always comes when called.

Fifi would be best suited to a retired couple, or someone who would prefer to have a quiet lifestyle and very secure property, befitting a Houdini. She is clearly a very well loved girl, and I owe it not only to Fifi, but also her previous mum, to make sure she only leaves her foster home for the best family possible. Fifi is not on borrowed time, so there is no need to rehome if it's not in her best interest.
