What’s up, humans?

The name’s Arankai, and apparently I was named after the alt-metal artist from Wisconsin, USA.

Unlike my namesake, though, I’m less mosh pit and more sunset playlist. Think chilled beats, good vibes, and a comfortable couch to stretch out on.

I’m a striking black greyhound who will be turning six soon, and my birthday wish is pretty simple: a family of my very own.

One thing you should know about me? I’m extremely food-motivated. Treats are basically my love language, which makes teaching me new things a breeze. If snacks are involved, I’m all ears.

While I am quite happy doing my own thing, I do also enjoy some pats and affection!

I love getting out and about for walks and am a pleasure to stroll with on lead. As for other dogs, I’m very comfortable around fellow greyhounds. I'm still building my confidence and social skills with other breeds, simply because I haven’t had much opportunity to meet them yet.

I could happily live with children aged five and over, provided they understand that settling into a new home can be a big adjustment and that I appreciate having my own quiet space when I need it.

All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm (including heartworm) treated. The adoption fee includes our Adopter Kit containing a martingale collar, leash, muzzle and useful information to help you get your new hound settled in.
