About Peanut Butter
Peanut Butter is a young guinea pig searching for a patient and caring home where he can continue to grow in confidence. He is healthy, active, and curious, but can be a little shy when meeting new people or adjusting to unfamiliar surroundings.
With gentle daily handling, a calm environment, and plenty of positive interactions, Peanut Butter is sure to come out of his shell. Once he feels safe and settled, he enjoys exploring his space and keeping a watchful eye on everything happening around him.
He would thrive with an adopter who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let him progress at his own pace. Watching Peanut Butter become more comfortable and confident is incredibly rewarding, and with patience and kindness, his sweet personality will shine through.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
