About Oreo
Meet the handsome Oreo!
This charming one-year-old black-and-white guinea pig is looking for a loving home. Oreo can be a little reserved when meeting new people, but with patience and gentle encouragement, his sweet personality soon begins to shine. Once he feels comfortable, he enjoys coming over to say hello-especially if you have some tasty leafy greens on offer!
Oreo loves having plenty of enrichment in his environment, including tunnels, hideaways, and chew toys to keep him active and entertained. As he is still building his confidence with handling, he will benefit from regular, gentle interaction each day to help him feel secure and comfortable.
Oreo would thrive in a spacious indoor enclosure where he can feel safe and settled, away from household predators and excessive noise. He may also enjoy the companionship of a friendly desexed guinea pig, pending a successful meet and greet.
If you're looking for a gentle companion and are willing to give him the time he needs to blossom, Oreo could be the perfect addition to your family.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
