Marty

Marty is an absolutely stunning pineapple conure. His vibrant colours match his personality. He is a very friendly boy, always coming over, and loves sunflower seeds (no surprise) and head scratches. Marty can be a biter, and needs someone experienced. The way to train him out of this should never use punishment, but instead requires someone that can work in a controlled environment, create positive experiences, use distracting techniques, and a buildable approach. Marty is very smart, it won’t take him long to learn with the right person. Like most parrots, I expect he would prefer to bond strongly to one person rather than a family, despite conures being known for their more social personalities.
