About Meatball
🍝 Meet Meatball 🍝
If life's recipe calls for fun, laughter and a generous serving of puppy antics, then Meatball is ready to deliver!
Currently in foster care with a loving family, Meatball is a larger-than-life little character who approaches every day with enthusiasm. While his sister Muffin prefers a slower pace, Meatball believes there is far too much excitement in the world to spend it sleeping. He's a bundle of energy who would happily play from breakfast through to dinner, stopping only for the occasional power nap before he's back in action.
This cheeky little Meatball is always looking for his next adventure. One of his favourite games is helping with the laundry... although his version of helping usually involves stealing clothes from the washing basket and sprinting away with them! He keeps his foster family entertained with his playful nature and endless curiosity.
Despite all that energy, Meatball still has a soft centre. He absolutely loves cuddles and enjoys attention from everyone he meets. Whether it's adults, children or visitors, Meatball is happy to soak up affection and be part of whatever is happening around him.
As you might expect from a pup named Meatball, he has an excellent appetite! He enthusiastically tucks into both puppy biscuits and wet food and never misses a meal. Food time is one of his favourite times of the day.
Meatball would thrive with an active family who can keep up with his zest for life and continue helping him learn about the world. He is the kind of puppy who wants to be involved in everything and would love a home where there is plenty of interaction, enrichment and play.
Meatball is becoming comfortable with crate time and travels well both with his sister and on his own. He also enjoys using cosy enclosed spaces for resting when he finally decides it's time for a break.
When it comes to toilet training, Meatball is making great progress. He currently uses puppy pads indoors and reliably wees and poops on them when in an enclosed area. After a nap, he'll often bark or whine to let you know he's awake and needs to go. With consistency and responsiveness from his new family, he is well on his way to becoming a well-mannered companion.
Because Meatball is growing up in foster care, we know so much about his personality, habits and what helps him thrive. If you'd like to add a little extra flavour to your family, submit an adoption application and we can arrange a meet and greet.
One thing is certain, life with Meatball will never be bland. 🍝🐾💙

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:
1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.
2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.
3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.
4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.
