About Maverick
Hi, my name is Maverick!
I came into care with Bull Arab Rescue after being given away on a Facebook community group š Despite my less than ideal start, I havenāt let it dampen my spirit. Iām a happy-go-lucky young boy who wakes up every day ready to take on the world.
I love life, I love my dog friends, and a home with another friendly dog is a must for me. Having a canine companion gives me confidence, keeps me entertained, and helps me be the best version of myself.
I absolutely adore children and would happily spend my days playing, cuddling, and being part of family adventures. Iām still a youngster, so Iām learning all about being a well-mannered family member. So far I am learning āsitā, Iām working hard on my other commands, and Iām already about 80% toilet trained. Iām a smart cookie and pick things up quickly.
I havenāt been tested with cats, but Iām still a cute blank canvas with lots of potential, so the right introductions and guidance will make this possible.
Iām microchipped, vaccinated, and up to date with all my worming.
Iāll come with a desexing contract to be completed when Iām more grown up at 12 months old.

ā¢ After applying, please allow around 48 hours for a response (weāre a small volunteer admin team)
ā¢ Applications are reviewed before any meets are arranged.
Meet & Adoption Process
ā¢ Local applicants: meet-and-greets are booked in advance
ā¢ Interstate applicants: transport quotes must be obtained prior to proceeding
ā¢ We do not offer on-the-spot adoptions ā our team needs time to ensure the right match for the dog and the family
Once your application is approved and all required information has been provided, we will organise a meet-and-greet, pending logistics and suitability.

ā¢ The dogās breed-specific needs, including diet (e.g. large vs medium breed requirements)
ā¢ Research into the breed to ensure it suits your lifestyle and experience level
ā¢ Child safety and size compatibility
ā¢ Real estate approval (if renting)
