Max - 5 Year Old Staffy X Ridgeback

Meet Max, a big dog with an even bigger heart. Happiest around his humans, but still able to look after himself with full time workers. He is not destructive and is happy to relax in peace.

Max is fully toilet trained and is working on progressing his doggy door skills. When at home he loves nothing more than a rope game with tug of war followed by a snooze on his dog bed or at his human’s feet.

Max sleeps through the night on his own bed. He sits down patiently to wait for dinner and is very gentle with treats - including carrots which are one of his faves.
Max is very strong on the lead and can be reactive. Commitment to ongoing training is needed.

• Max can sit and shake on command.
• Max is a gentleman indoors.
• Max travels well in the car.
• Max would suit very dog savvy kids over ten only.
• He would best benefit from experienced large breed owners who are committed to ongoing training.
• Max would love a large outdoor space to run until his hearts content.
• At the moment he would be best suited as an only dog.

Max is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home and to sleep inside.

Max is in foster care in Long Jetty NSW. He is not available for adoption interstate. His adoption fee is $400 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
