**Meet Digger 🐾**
🐶 **Personality:**
Digger is a lovely, easy-going boy who has quickly won people over with his friendly nature and good manners. He enjoys spending time with his humans and is a pleasure to have around. Digger walks beautifully on lead, has excellent recall and already knows how to sit, making him a wonderful companion both at home and out and about.
Digger is a fun-loving boy with a cheeky, mischievous side that makes him a joy to be around. He loves being involved in family life and thrives on companionship.
🎓 **Training:**
Digger has a great foundation and is responsive to his handler. He walks well on lead, comes when called and has basic obedience skills. He is a smart boy who enjoys learning and working with his people and will continue to flourish with positive reinforcement and ongoing training.
🏠 **Perfect Home:**
Digger is looking for a calm, loving home where he can continue to thrive. He would be happiest on a property with some space to enjoy, ideally with acreage or a larger yard. A retired person, or someone who is home most of the time, would be an ideal match as Digger loves being with his people and enjoys being included in everyday life.
Digger is currently in foster care with other dogs and can occasionally try to herd them when they're playing ball. For this reason, he may be best suited as an only dog or with a calm female dog.
With his lovely temperament, good manners, affectionate nature and playful personality, Digger is ready to find the forever home he truly deserves.

~If you’re approved for adoption are you able to take your new dog within 2 weeks?
~Current pets? Details (breed, age, desexed?)
~Children? Details (age, experience with dogs)
~Rent or own your home? What is the size of your yard/property? Do you have secure fencing?
~Work commitments/how long would I be left alone? Why do you think I would suit your family?
~As a working breed I will need lots of training, exercise & mental stimulation. How to do plan to meet those needs? What training have you and your previous/current dog completed?
~I will need additional vet work in my life time such as follow up
vaccinations etc. I will also need monthly flea and worm treatments, are you prepared for that?
~ I am a good 10-20 years commitment are you 100% ready to
give me a home?

~A yard check or photographic proof of secure fencing, shelter & sleeping areas will be required.
~Written agreement is required by your landlord/real estate for rental properties. A rates notice is required for homeowners.
~A vet reference may be required.
