Meet Pookie, a delightful 8-week-old Toy Poodle brimming with love and charm. This enchanting little girl was born on a farm and came to Waggy Tails alongside her brother and sisters, ready to start an exciting new chapter filled with love, fun, and cuddles.
Toy Poodles are known for their intelligence, friendly nature, and adaptability. Pookie embodies all these wonderful traits and is eager to share her affection with a family. Her curly coat gives her the classic Poodle elegance, but it also means she’ll need regular grooming to stay at her best. Keeping her coat healthy and free of tangles will become a bonding experience you both can enjoy.
Pookie's idea of a perfect day includes sunshine, playtime with a variety of toys, and many cozy cuddles with her beloved humans. She's sociable and will thrive in a lively household where she can get lots of attention and companionship. Having been microchipped, received her first vaccination, and dewormed, Pookie is well-prepared for her new start. She’s been nourished with a high-quality diet to ensure she grows healthy and strong. Under the direction of our vet Pookie will be desexed at 6 months of age and must return to our vet in rosewood for this procedure. The desex cost is included in her adoption fee and this is a non negotiable condition of adoption.

What does this mean?
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal will then take place. You must bring advise Waggy Tails if you are bringing your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption.
3. You will need to provide details of your dogs full vaccination status prior to bringing to the Sanctuary.
4. Waggy Tails does not offer trial period for puppies under the age of 6 months who are adopted out. Please ensure you are ready to adopt now. Waggy Tails will do their best to ensure you and your new dog are a good match.
3. Mircrochip transfer takes place after 7 days. Please note this may take up to 4 weeks dependent on microchip paperwork. If for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to Waggy Tails the Adoption fee may be refunded minus an admin fee (Minimum $500).
5. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work UNTIL date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current at their cost from date of adoption.
