Mellow is proof that sometimes the best things are worth waiting for.

This sweet girl is only just beginning her socialisation journey in foster care, so she is looking for a patient family who will be happy to take things at her pace and gently show her that the world is full of wonderful adventures. While new experiences can still feel a little overwhelming at times, Mellow is making fantastic progress and grows in confidence every day.

She is a playful, clever puppy who absolutely loves her food, which makes training a dream. Whether she's learning new skills, solving enrichment puzzles, or practising her puppy manners, Mellow is always eager to earn a tasty reward. She is still working on her toilet training and basic puppy skills, but she's a very willing student.

One of Mellow's most entertaining features is her impressive vocabulary. She has a collection of adorable grumbles, squeaks, woos, and funny little noises that have us convinced she's trying to hold entire conversations with us. Life with Mellow is never boring, and she is guaranteed to keep you smiling.

Mellow enjoys the company of other dogs and could also live with cats with sensible introductions and ongoing management. A confident canine friend may even help show her that the world isn't such a scary place after all. Because Mellow is still building her confidence, she is looking for a home with older, dog savvy children who can understand her need for patience and gentle guidance.
